The EasyScan scanning software provides SCSI scanner drivers andintelligent scanning functions to support popular desktop scanners suchas the Microtek, HP, Fujitsu, and Sharp scanners. EasyScan allows usersto preview, adjust contrast and brightness, scan, sharpen, invert,rotate, flip, crop, resize, and pixel-edit images.Pictronics supports most popular scanners, including Microtek, HP,Fujitsu, and Sharp, to meet your diverse scanning requirements -- from600 dpi desktop color scanners to high-end 2400 dpi 36-bit prepress colorscanners. EasyScan can scan text and photographs in 1-bit monochrome, 8-bit grayscale, and 24-bit true color. With an optional automaticdocument feeder, the scanning system can perform unattended, autoscanningup to 50 pages. An optional transparency media adapter is alsoavailable. In addition, EasyScan has a direct interface to Pictronics'DigitalPhoto image editing software, and EasyRead OCR software, such thatscanning and scanner control can be done within the application software.EasyScan is a component of the ImageWorx product suite, which consists ofthe EasyScan, EasyRead OCR software, and DigitalPhoto Image Editingsoftware. Depending upon your imaging applications, these modules canwork independently or as an integrated imaging suite. All the productsuse a consistent Motif graphical user interface and X Window System onmost UNIX platforms including SPARC, HP, IBM, Silicon Graphics, DEC,UnixWare, and SCO.
